Due to the success of the unit, we are expanding the team and currently plan to be providing services across 7 days of the week. The current operating hours are 8am -8pm Monday to Friday but will be gradually extended over time to accommodate clinics on Saturdays and Sundays. We are looking for people with an interest in chemotherapy and cancer who have a flexible approach to work and who possess excellent interpersonal and organisation skills, to work alongside our medical oncology and haematology teams. The role involves administering chemotherapy and other cancer treatments, promoting awareness and education of oncology issues and supporting patients and their families during a critical time in their cancer care. You will be supported by experienced chemotherapy nurses and training will be given to suit the needs of the successful applicant. The permanent contract will provide you with an opportunity to gain new skills and experience within a busy chemotherapy day unit.
