TRUST DOCTOR (CT1/2 Level) in NEUROLOGY THE JAMES COOK UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL Applications are invited for the above post, to commence as soon as possible until 4th August 2020. South Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest in the country and provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical specialties including the full range of neurological specialties. There are active postgraduate surgical and medical programmes and excellent library facilities are available. This post is suitable for those with particular interest in Neurology, or Doctors who require Neurological experience to augment training in another specialty, or someone who needs Neurology to facilitate MRCP Training. The post is based in a unit comprising a 21-bedded ward, outpatient facilities, Neuropsychology and with a further 18 Neuro-rehabilitation beds nearby. Neurosurgery, Neurophysiology and Neuroradiology are close and the department contains its own library. The Trust Doctor post is not officially approved by the Postgraduate Dean however, you will be offered first-rate experience and exceptional training under close supervision. There are excellent opportunities for career progression within the Trust. Full GMC registration with a licence to practice is required. The post will attract an out of hours supplement.
