Main area Radiology Grade NHS AfC: Band 5 Contract Permanent Hours Full time: 37.5 Hours Per Week (Part time hours will be considered) Job ref 409-2336502 Site Whiston and St Helens Hospital Sites Town Prescot Salary £24,214 - £30,112 Per Annum Closing 24/03/2020 23:59 Interview date 08/04/2020 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join the Radiology Team at St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual, with a passion for providing excellence within patient care to join our friendly and dedicated Team. The successful candidate assess, plan and carry out nursing care and interventions on a wide range of patients ensuring effective and efficient use of resources. They will work as part of a small team providing nursing care within the department. They will support the Radiology Nursing Sister in maintaining the quality of nursing care delivered. 2 years post qualification experience is essential for this post. The post will involve a range of nursing duties within the various modalities in Radiology - Interventional Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, etc and will require close interaction with all the members of the multi-disciplinary Radiology team. The work is predominantly not ward based. Part time hours will be considered. An Enhanced DBS Certificate, with the checking of the Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists is required for this post.
