Main area Endoscopy Unit Grade NHS AfC: Band 5 Contract Permanent Hours Full and Part Time Hours Available Job ref 409-2174117 Site Whiston Hospital Town Prescot Salary £24,214 - £30,112 Per Annum Pro Rata Closing 11/02/2020 23:59 Interview date 18/02/2020 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and vastly developing Endoscopy Team. About Us! Whiston Hospitals Endoscopy Unit consists of two therapeutic Endoscopy rooms which under take upper Endoscopy, lower Endoscopy, ERCPs, bronchoscopy and EBUS. In addition we have a unit based in St Helens Hospital, which has three diagnostic Endoscopy rooms and a designated treatment room. The role will involve working closely with the Endoscopy team made up of our Health Care Assistant’s, Nurse Endoscopists and Consultant Gastroenterologists. Previous Endoscopy experience is desired, however training and professional support will be provided by our team of highly-skilled Nursing Staff. The post holder will be expected to rotate across both the Whiston and St Helens Hospital sites. An Enhanced DBS Certificate with the checking of both the Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists is required for this post. Interviews for this position will take place on Tuesday 18 th February 2020.
